Down the road apiece from Burgonia, we have a 3.7 mile section of rails-to-trails that
skirts along the flood plain of the Cumberland River. It was a warm Valentines day so we
decided to walk out to the old rail road bridge in celebration of the 'Bridges of Cheatham
County.

Approaching the old rail road trestle on
the rails to trails Cumberland Centennial Trail. Trestle was built to transverse the mouth
of Sycamore creek as it flows into the Cumberland River. |

| There are some good visuals on the bridge,
like this view from under the tressle. |

A bass angler and the distant hills that cradle the Cumberland river. There
