Adoption:  Two Kids!

Beads and Beading:  One of our hobbies is stringing bracelets, anklets and necklaces.

Bird Watching:  There are many lovely birds that visit our feeders. In the summer we feed the hummers.

Camping:  Yes! as often as possible. For weekend get-a-ways, we enjoy the park system of Tennessee and Kentucky. Some of our favorites, Big South Fork NRA, Pickett SP, Fall Creek Falls SP, Barren River SP, and Defeated Creek ACRA. We have a pop-up camper and enjoy fishing, mountain biking and hiking.

Celtic Knots:  I'm so confused…how do they do that?

Celtic Music:  We love Celtic music, check out our links page for some great sites.

Cooking:   Kevin does most of it. Get him to make his whole wheat crust fat free pizza when you visit. Its JAMMIN'!

Creative Writing:  We like to write stories, articles about fossils and fossil collecting, poems, and lyrics. Lately our passion has been to write about adoption.

Dougie McLean:  One of Scotland's finest singer songwriters. There are few days that go by in Burgonia without Dougie on the stereo. Check out his website.

Fishing:  This is Janet's passion and Kevin's interest. Janet's favorite rig, Berkley ultra lite pole and what Janet calls a 'bumble bee' ultra lite reel. Kevin is happy when he is able to tie a hook onto his line. We got our selves quite a smashing deal, Janet catches and cleans and Kevin cooks. But most of the time its just sport fishing…and we throw 'em back.

Fossil Hunting:  There are so many fossils and so little time. Wanna buy some? Heh-heh we have fossils, posters, toys for sale.

Gardening:  We have just begun to create a nutrient rich organic garden on part of our property. Acidity is very high and the soil is clay. We did not have a good yield last year so we worked the soil in early winter and will continue to improve it for this years crop.

Golf:  Kevin's one time passion and now mere interest. Tommy Armor 845's. FORE!

Graphic Images:  We have lots of 'em…check out scrap book.

Highland Games:  Another Celtic passion of ours. We make an annual trip up to the Glasgow Highland Games held at Barren River SP in Kentucky and dream of the day when we'll be able to attend the Grandfather Mountain Games held in MacRae meadows in North Carolina. We are MacRae's by clan, Fortitudine!

Herbs:  We grow and dry them. We believe in the healing and medicinal powers.

Holistic Health:  We find some interesting truths in the tales of old wives!

Hoosier Hoops:  Once a hoosier, always a hoosier…GO IU!!!!

Home Brewing:  Another of Kevin's interests, specializing in stouts, porters and dark ales.  Janet's note...we find some nteresting truths in the tales of old husbands!

Janet's Tractor:  Janet has one bitchin' lawn tractor. Twin cylinder, 19.5 hp,46" cut, auto tranie. She gets upset if you mess with her tractor and mow the lawn while she's not home.

Jessie James in Tennesee:   Yup he lived here and robbed a bank of two. Kevin's researching this and will have a story and pictures soon.

Lava Lamps:  Help we have three! Isn't there a 12 step program for that?

Making Dream Catchers:  We like to make them with rush branches and sinew.

Photography:  35mm and digital Most all the pictures in our scrapbook were shot with our digital camera. It is an Epson photo PC.

Porch Sitting:  Yep, we like to sit there as often as possible. Our porch faces the South. It is a cool place to sit in a wooden rocker with a big ol'e ice tea on a summers eve. Friends come out to visit just to sit on the porch. Ya'll come back now 'here?

Rennaisance Folklore:  We love Ren fairs and Renaissance related interests. We have included several sites pertaining to such on our links page. On a personal note, it all started in a silly chat room called Sherwood Forest for Janet and I. We found a mutual interest, which developed into a friendship and then love, and all is past lore. We now live the reality of what was once a dream.

Runes:  An oracle from ancient times. We enjoy counsel of the Runes and have started to make our own stones.

Shitzus:  We have one named Mr. Scott. He is best boy. He loves noodles so we have nick-named him 'Noodle'.

Star Gazing:  We thank our lucky stars for all God's twinkling lanterns above our heads at night. We are often blessed with clear enough skies to see the Milky Way at night.

Taoism:  The Way to find a center…a peaceful, thoughtful 6,000-year-old philosophy that we practice in our every day lives. An excellent introduction is a book called, 'The Tao of Pooh' written by Benjamin Hoff, Dutton books.

Trader Joe's:   When in California, go to Trader Joes! We'll send money and a list with you…you can pick up stuff for us.
